It all began…

in 2020 when we, like so many, began the shift back to our roots. We wanted to know more about food: how to grow it, how to invest in its future, what labels actually mean, where it comes from, and how to infuse the future of real food and sustainable agriculture with the next generation. After establishing our small farm and getting to know other local farmer, makers, and growers nearby, we knew we wanted to use our roadside acreage to support locally sourced, organic, raw food: the way it should be, forever.

We renovated an existing pole barn on our 10 acres, and use the front half as a Piney Mountain Market, home to over 150 Carolina vendors. The back half is a nature and farm school where we engage today’s children, inspiring them to become or support tomorrow’s farmers and growers.

We can’t wait to see you in the market, maybe you’ll see a friendly face while you grab your milk and bread, and we hope it’s always your stop for the old fashioned community general store of days gone by.

What’s to come?

We have big plans for Piney Mountain Market, but know slow and consistent growth is the best way to build something that lasts. We are always adding new vendors and items, with plans for expansion in 2027. Keep an eye out, and follow our instagram and newsletter for current updates.
